Los virus utilizan c\u00e9lulas para reproducirse<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Si un virus es muy contagioso pero solo se transmite cuando el hu\u00e9sped ya est\u00e1 muy enfermo, el virus no se propagar\u00e1 porque el hu\u00e9sped no se podr\u00e1 mover de la cama y no tendr\u00e1 interacci\u00f3n con otros posibles hu\u00e9spedes. Esto es lo que pas\u00f3 con el virus del \u00e9bola. En cambio, si un virus no provoca s\u00edntomas graves a su hu\u00e9sped y el hu\u00e9sped puede seguir haciendo vida normal (o, por ejemplo, subir a un avi\u00f3n, ir al trabajo, ir a comprar, etc.), el virus se transmitir\u00e1 a muchos m\u00e1s individuos y el contagio ser\u00e1 mayor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los virus tienen que seguir contagiando para no morir. Por lo tanto, existe un equilibrio entre los s\u00edntomas y la gravedad de la enfermedad que causan a su hu\u00e9sped y la transmisi\u00f3n del virus a otros individuos<\/strong>. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo se reproduce un virus?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La interacci\u00f3n hu\u00e9sped-pat\u00f3geno<\/strong> se define como la manera en que los pat\u00f3genos o los virus<\/strong>, en nuestro caso, se mantienen dentro de organismos hu\u00e9sped a nivel molecular, celular, de organismos o de poblaci\u00f3n. Este t\u00e9rmino es de uso com\u00fan para referirse a los microorganismos que causan enfermedad, aunque no la provoquen en todos los hu\u00e9spedes [1]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los virus utilizan un mecanismo diferente a las bacterias y microbios para causar la enfermedad. Este mecanismo se basa en interrumpir la funci\u00f3n celular o incluso matar c\u00e9lulas. Nuestros cuerpos a menudo responden con fiebre (el calor inactiva muchos virus), con la secreci\u00f3n de un qu\u00edmico llamado interfer\u00f3n (que bloquea la reproducci\u00f3n de los virus), o al ordenar los anticuerpos del sistema inmunitario y otras c\u00e9lulas que ataquen al invasor [2]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando el virus entra en el organismo y se empieza a reproducir lo llamamos infecci\u00f3n<\/strong>. La enfermedad <\/strong>ocurre cuando se da\u00f1an las c\u00e9lulas del organismo, como resultado de la infecci\u00f3n, y aparecen signos y s\u00edntomas de una afecci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
